Is help is on its way? @kalyn__ponga

Who else will step forward to honour Newcastle’s royalty and get our boys off to an air conditioned suite at the grand final?

///ORIGINAL POST

WHO WILL BE THE HERO THAT GETS OUR ROYALTY TO THE GRAND FINAL?

Send us a message. We are in talks. First to come forward with an offer will go down in history.

Steel City Standard reporters learned today, in a shocking turn of events, that the heroes of this town, the 17 men who brought the city to its first premiership in 1997, have not got and cannot get tickets to the NRL Grand Final on Sunday.

This is news which should go to the very heart of Newcastle , and which no Novovastrian should stand to accept.

The Steel City Standard urgently calls on all decision makers, including the current Knights team and management to give these legends the legacy they have earned.

Our original boys deserve that honour.

And they don’t just deserve the tickets, we won’t stop until we hear that all 17 players and their loved ones parked up in a corporate box.

They are our legacy. Our city would not be what it is without them.

Do the right thing.

We won’t stop until you do.
