Grand Final Week

RUMBLE: We have recieved reports that Dein Perry’s Tap Dogs are in urgent, top secret talks with NRL talent scout Peter V’Landy’s to serve their city proud as the turmoil laden pick of entertainment for Sunday’s Grand final.

The much loved group is still in action today, with a busy studio on Parry Street in town. The infectious beat of a steel stampede led the group to international success, including in the 2000 film ‘Bootmen’, shot and produced on God’s country proper.

It is a little known fact that a Novocastrian is to thank for the illustrious career of sometimes blue guy Sam Worthington. We understand that Tap Dog’s senior management have even offered to call in a favour to their old mate Sam, and his wife of ‘where the bloody hell are ya’ fame, Lara Worthington (née, and always really, Bingle - @laraworthington )

In another display of local pride, a Tap Dog old boy had one message to the people of the Hunter:

“Listen to my feet and I will tell you the story of my life.”

What an inspiration.
